In connection with dynamic expansion of the Enterprise, a strong need of
quality assessment has accrued. Krosno Building Enterprise KPB S.A. has
undertaken an action which would lead to develop the quality management system
based on relevant procedures. Foundations and aims of the quality management in
Krosno Building Enterprise KPB S.A. are included in The Quality Policy.
To increase competitiveness and reliability
for our Partners, the Enterprise must operate at least according to the same
standards as our Clients do. So the Enterprise must sustain the Quality
Management System based on ISO 9001:2000 standards. The lack of the Quality
Management System, approved by a certificate, may close the company’s
opportunities to cooperate with foreign Clients and decrease the competitiveness
during the bidding processes. The Enterprise often has met the tendering
requirements which have not allowed putting the bid without the Quality
Management System. The Company is aware that the lack of the Quality Management
System may cause the developing problems.
Implementation of quality management system
based on ISO 9001:2000 norm was first accomplished in 2004 by the Enterprise
according to company's development plan and company's accommodation to
requirements and standards which are accepted by sector of small and medium
companies in European Union. Thanks to these actions information and
documentation transfer and quality of services were improved.
Certification audit took place in company between 30th and 31st August 2007. The
audit was conducted by auditors from the certificating unit - DNV Poland,
in Dutch accreditation RvA.
The audit comprised of all identified processes in KPB S.A.
activities. As a result of the audit, a report was issued, which includes
remarks and auditors' observations and recommendations to issue the certificate
for future years – till September 2010.
